This year we celebrate 800 years since St Francis of Assisi passed from his life on earth to his life with the Lord in Heaven. We call this his
Transitus, a Latin word that means 'passing'. This is an important year for the entire Franciscan family around the world. In Ireland we are currently planning a number of events to mark this very special 'Jubilee of St Francis'. All information about these events will be posted to this blog.
