Dear Sisters and Brothers in St Francis and St Clare!
Planning is well under way for a number of events to mark the 800 anniversary of the transitus of St Francis of Assisi in 1226. Further details will be provided as plans are finalised. For now, here is a small taster of two of the bigger events:
A 'Franciscan Family Day' is planned for Multyfarnham Franciscan Friary on Saturday 26th of September. The day will be filled with prayer, fun and fellowship.
October 2026:
A Franciscan Triduum is planned for Dublin over the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of October across the Franciscan Churches in Church Street (Capuchin), Merchant's Quay (OFM) and Fairview (Conventual).
